Author Book Reading Event with Stub Estey author of Oxcart Gold Rush from Pompey Center to Sacramento -and Back
Aug 25 @ 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm

Stub Estey brings to life the historic story of a Man and his family who travel west in pursuit of the 1849 gold rush!  Based on a diary discovered in the dusty attic of Mr. Estey’s childhood home in Pompey, New York, the story chronicles the travels of Daniel W. Holdbrook and places it in context of a growing nation. It is America’s story and reflects the events happening in America and the world in the mid-19th century. Mr. Estey will read excerpts of his book and sign copies.
